Amnesty International has documented US immigration agents forcibly separating families of asylum seekers, even when they have proof of their family relationships and the persecution that they have fled.

What is more shameful than separating parents from infant children at the border, then losing track of those children?

America used to be exceptional for its liberty; now it is exceptional for its cruelty.

This must stop.
